Thank you, Damian, for this journalists' guide to firearms identification, although I did find your sending it to me just slightly patronizing. I knew how to identify all of them already. In fact, I have fired one just like the one on the bottom right, which I doubt you, in your safe ivory tower, can say.
The aperture sight wasn't ideal for target-acquisition -- especially when the target was moving -- but it seemed to work okay if I shot with both eyes closed, and I must say it lived up to its reputation for never jamming.
Lol. When all you have is a Journalism Degree, everything looks like an AK-47.
